Open & Closed Questions
  • When we are trying to get information from clients to further their successful real estate journey, we classify the questions as;


  • Open Questions
  • And
  • Closed Questions

Open Questions
  • Open questions are questions that are designed to cause an answer.
  • Open questions are used to get more information to help come to a better understanding and conclusion for that client.
  • “How did you get to school today?”
  • “When are you going on vacation?”
  • “Who was your favorite high school teacher?”

Closed Questions
  • Closed questions are questions that are designed to get closure, or a decision.
  • Closed questions don’t normally evoke an information answer, they evoke an answer of decision “Yes”, or “No.”
  • “Do you have a dog?”
  • “Are you married?”
  • “Did you go to college?”
