nThe keyboard on the 10 BII looks overwhelming, or complicated.  = If you group the numbers and scripting into color = it becomes painfully simple.=
nYou’ll notice that you have three colors on your keyboard.  You have white, the numbers are all white and many of = the written commands are white.  These white markings tell = you what a key will do if only t= hat key is pressed.
nNotice that you have a key with Orange and a key w= ith purple.  = You also have a purple and orange invoking key.

n= When you press those keys you invoke the orange and purple functions assign= ed to the keys.  You will notice that ma= ny keys have three funct= ions, white, orange and purple.  Some ha= ve only white and some h= ave white and orange, with a few having white, = orange, and purple.  This equates to fewer keys and more functions on a smaller keyboard.

Multiplication can be one of the handiest uses of a constant.  Suppose you put $5,000 in a bank at 7% interest a year.  You want to know what the $5,= 000 will be worth at the end of the third year.

You have probably seen your Yx key on calculators before.  Likely you have not used this key because it looked very scary and sophisticated.  It isn’t really, it is just a fast way= to raise a number to a power.  = WHAT’S THAT?
Say we invested an amount of money at 10% interest for 8 years.  How much, compounded, would that amount be worth in 8  years.  The mathemat= ical problem is 1.10 times itself 8 times.  Here the Y =3D 1.10; and the x =3D 8;  = Simply pictured it would look like this;
